"Suicide is Painless" (Real Stories of Suicide Survivors) This is to be a book of autobiographical expository pieces by survivors of almost successful suicides (ie suicides who actually died but were resuscitated). The focus of the book is to be on the experience of suicide and how one is to go on living after having attempted to take one's own life, with primary focus on the reasons behind the suicide attempt, any experiences that may have ensued from the suicide attempt, thoughts, feelings and emotions that ensued upon realizing that the suicide attempt was not successful, and strategies of coping after an almost successful suicide. To be included in each expository piece are any history of any diagnosed mental disorder(s), physical issue(s), and whatever family history each suicide feels is relevant to their attempt. Also requested from such survivors would be any writings related to the feelings associated with their attempt and/or the general mental state before the attempt, as well as any history of any previous attempts and, if relevant, the circumstances surrounding those as well. The editor of this book proposal will also be submitting a personal autobiographical expository piece of her own experience with the subject in question and will be personally answering any and all correspondence in relation to this book proposal, as well as reviewing all submissions for the suitability for inclusion in this book. If you are a survivor of an almost successful suicide attempt and wish to have your autobiographical expository piece included in this volume, please submit your story of 5,000-10,000 in text format only to
